ODF Digital Course Included in Mandatory Training to Promote Document Standardization
In line with the Executive Yuan’s “Implementation Plan for the Standard Format of Government Documents (ODF-CNS 15251),” the university has officially incorporated the Open Document Format (ODF) digital course into the Policy Training Curriculum for administrative staff starting in 2025. This initiative aims to enhance faculty and staff understanding and application of open document standards, fostering standardized document formatting and long-term information preservation.
According to the plan, all university faculty and staff must complete at least 6 hours of ODF training between 2024 and 2027. The course covers an introduction to ODF, the background of government policies, practical examples, and common use cases, enabling staff to apply ODF standards effectively in daily administrative work.
The university will continue promoting related training and resources to support departments in achieving training goals and gradually incorporating ODF into routine document workflows, aligning with national policy and strengthening digital governance.
