Regarding the recent tender for the renewal of the SAS software license, the bidding process was unsuccessful because the vendor\u2019s quoted price did not meet the minimum requirement and exceeded the university\u2019s budget allocation.<\/p>\n
In consideration of cost-effectiveness and actual usage, there is currently no urgent need to retender, and the renewal process will be temporarily suspended.<\/p>\n
The university\u2019s existing SAS campus license remains valid until December 31, 2025.<\/p>\n
Faculty members and students are advised to plan ahead and adjust their tools and teaching materials accordingly.<\/p>\n
If vendor quotations or conditions change in the future, or if the university identifies an alternative feasible solution, the Information Center will issue an updated announcement.<\/p>\n
